You Can!

My brain is drawing a blank tonight on the blogging front. I simply don’t know what to say. I’m a little lost for words as I’m feeling very tired. So instead of a reflective blog I’m going to just say a few things which I hope will act like personal little nuggets of encouragement, just for you! (Well probably for me too, as I also need to hear them!)

  1. You are far far more capable than you give yourself credit for. 
  2. You are probably limiting your running or yourself, in more than one way, through your thoughts, feelings or actions (or lack of them). 
  3. You can run longer, run faster and run for more days on the trot than you think you can.
  4. You can nearly always find that little bit more and dig deeper,  if you want to.
  5. You can follow your wildest and craziest running dreams and achieve things that you once didn’t even know were possible. 
  6. You can have some amazing highs and dreary lows through running.
  7. You might fail to finish a race and actually learn more than the times when you finish a race.
  8. You can meet some amazing people through running.
  9. You can heal your mind, body and spirit through running.
  10. You can find yourself through running, just as much as you can lose yourself.
  11. You can run the race that you keep dreaming of! 
  12. You will find ways to ‘be’ through running.
If you do find yourself limiting you and your success then just ask yourself, what can I do to get out of my own way?
